It's a new chapter for the Canaries. With 72 matches under her belt and a promotion to the Arkema First League, as well as a play-off appearance, Maureen Cosson has announced her departure from FC Nantes this summer. For the Canarian from La Roche-sur-Yon, a new challenge awaits her, for a player who has always played in the region. At the age of 29, Cosson is saying goodbye to FC Nantes. « Nantaises, Nantais, after three seasons at FC Nantes, the time has come to say goodbye. When I arrived, I never would have imagined living all that I have lived here. I signed for the D3. Finally, at the end of the first season, we find ourselves promoted to the first division. It was not necessarily the objective and finally it made us live something unforgettable. » « Three years later, we find ourselves playing a play-off semi-final. Everything has gone very quickly. The time has come for me to leave, to discover another project. It's true that I have never left the region since I started playing football. Today, I feel a lot of emotions because I have lived three incredible years here, where I have shared unforgettable moments and I will keep a lot of very good memories of my time here. » « I wanted to thank the management, the staff, who have trusted me during these three years. The partners, without whom all this would be impossible. All the people who work daily with us and who make sure that everything goes well and that we are in the best conditions. I wanted to thank you, the supporters, for all the love, all the commitment, all the support. Whether it's on the events on the territory, whether it's on the visits to the clubs, whether it's on the different matches. All this will remain forever etched in my memory since it are unforgettable moments. I sincerely wish the best for the club for the future. »
